Yeah i agree it applies to Calzaghe, i think he should relax and just trust his boxing game. I don't like fear based motivation, i don't think it's helpful.
Have a look at him for 3 minutes, see what all the fuss is about, dont get overawed, dont get flustered and come back in one piece.
My advice - Do your absolute best, make your fans proud, showcase heart, will, skill and mental triumph win or lose and if you lose, come back and show your class against the rest of the division or the division up win or lose as well. Best of luck Mikkel.:good
I'm buying it. Hell, if I was a part of the Kessler Camp, I'd probably offer you a job. Good stuff! :smoke
I see that tons of ideas for how MK should handle this fight appear in different threads. Keep em' comin'
:huh Don't step in the ring thinking that you are fighting Bute rather than Calzaghe... ...or... avoid Bute and never fight him? ...because if I was Kessler, I would definitely want to fight Bute, given that I would have a high chance of beating him!:nod
1. Don't step back from punches, step in with your punches. 2. Combine the left hook with the jab as he retreats, possibly will get him stumbling backwards and score a knockdown. 3. Save your right hand and make good use of the stiff jab and footwork. Then, come on rotating the trunk and discharge full power in the last 12 minutes so that you finish the 12 rounder on top of him.
1. Act with some dignity when you get your arse handed to you on a plate. 2. Don't worry about losing because JC will be retired in 12 months and you can clean up the division 3. Just be happy that you survived
