Matt Franklin-Marvin Johnson I. Just a sick back and forth slugfest. Never get enough of that one. II wasn't bad either. Like Tyson-Douglas for the historic shockingness of it. Chacon-Limon IV another great one. Pryor-Arguello I, total classic. And of course, Foreman-Lyle
my all time favourite fight used to be Benn vs McLellen until i realised what had happened to McLellen during the fight. Cant sit and enjoy that for the brilliant war it was anymore. See the butt that does the damage to McLellan and how he reacts to some serious internal problem whilst still getting smashed in the face and head for another amount of rounds. Most my favourites are close brutal encounters but ive gotta say Calzaghe vs Lacy is my favourite. I was sucked into all the hype for Lacy and was a bag of nerves before this one. Could Calzaghe really avoid or take the bombs of this new Mike Tyson alike? Would he lose, at home, to a yank? I was a wreck and had resigned myself to the fact i could be in for a night of cruel viewing. So to then to sit back and watch one of the most 1 sided Boxing lessons ive ever seen was like taking some sort of drug. What a night. Also a mention for the Hagler Hearns short war which was like something out of a movie.
His sister confirmed it and apologised on his behalf. People close to him confirmed it and apologised on his behalf. Didn't deserve brain damage? well in my humble opinion those Labradors didn't deserve to be ripped to pieces by pitbulls. McClellan got off rather lightly on the pain front if you compare it to what happened to those animals.
So many, but my all time favorites are either Hagler Hearns or Chava Gomez. Depends on the day as I go back and forth.
