One? Damn. Can't do it. Top Ten? Maybe but in no particular order 1. Riddick Bowe 2. Mike Tyson 3. Lennox Lewis 4. Ray Mercer 5. Arturo Gatti 6. Antonio Margarito 7. Jermain Taylor 8. Buddy McGirt 9. Miguel Cotto 10. Kevin Johnson
Muhammad Ali & Erik Morales. Both fought all the best men they should have & showed the heart & will of a legend in their careers & especially in their biggest fights. Ali in his prime was like poetry in motion + I just loved his interviews & stuff outside the ring, the greatest sportsman of all time IMO. Morales was/is simply a born fighter, the ultmate warrior with skills in his prime to match his will, a rare breed of fighter.
Arturo Gatti. I absolutely loved the heart he showed in the ring. I have a long list of guys I really liked (Hagler, Cotto, Holyfield) but Gatti is my all-time favorite.
When I first started watching boxing.. I guess I was around 13 yrs old or so... Fernando Vargas was the guy to watch. Watching him fight on HBO was what made me a boxing fan. I didnt know much about the sport at all except that Vargas was a total badass and knocked everyone out. Just for that reason alone Vargas will always be my favorite.
Smokin Joe Frazier. Determination, grit, guts, power; all things the man had in excess. Plus we have the trilogy thanks to him and Ali.
