2015 and no sauerland? You are way off mate.

He is still with Sauerland and everything seems to be ok now. Helenius comeback fight has been announced by his father: 3rd May in Berlin.

Chisora vs Helenius was robbery of the year. He's got good power though

Yes, you are correct;) Thank you. I found that just now as well.

The next fight is planned to be the 3rd of May 2014. Undercard of Arthur Abraham vs Nikola Sjekloca. Helenius was sparring with Kubrat Pulev in Berlin.

For the record, Helenius was injured during the Chisora fight and during his last fight with Sprott.

I saw some video of Helenius lately, he has improved a lot, moves better, better balance, and still hits very hard. Looks like he will be back!!!

I'd say he's solid all around but not spectacular in any one thing. Although he sucks in one category: Staying healthy, active, and in shape.

Good heavyweight, somewhere in the top 20-30.

He is complete BUM. Man he sucks.
I wish him he wouldnt exist or at least changed from a man to sperm and went back to his father testicles.

Like lots of heavyweight prospects and up and comers, it only takes 1 thing to upset the apple cart and the development--which everyone seems to think every guy continues to do--stops. I never understood the always improving thing myself and what happens to lots of guys is just like Helenius--they peak or have peaked when they reach the top 10.

That's as good as it ever gets.

    Inactivity caused by injuries. :sad2

His next fight will tell lot about his future so I'm kinda curious to see what kind of Robbe shows up.

He has an excellent right hand, also throws a decent uppercut and has decent movement for a big man. Nice combinations and can hook off the jab nicely. Also had decent hand speed for big man.

But he pushes out his jab, there's no snap to it. He lacks head and upper body movement which makes him pretty easy to hit if you can get in range.

At his best he was a clear top 10 fighter but he's been plagued with injuries and promotional problems. I hope he can get another run going and fight some contenders.

I like Helenius, I just want him to show up in fighting shape. If he does that, and learns to snap his jab ... he could beat anyone. Or at least give them a good fight. I'm pretty sure he's never been KO'd.

    Yup.......defo a top 5 HW if healthy.

He seems to have recovered from the devastating shoulder injury. Now, if he can get a proper hand wrap, and keep his R hand from breaking.....

I think he'll do ok if he comes back slightly slow mixing it up with softish top 100 comp, ie Rossy, Audley, Petkovic, then step it slightly vs the Bahtov, Hammer, and Olukun.

If he made those 6 fights in the next 18 mos, he could win em all by KO without risking reinjury. But he'd need the softer chins in his first 3 fights, just to get in shape and perfect his mechanics.
After those 3, he could test his new mechanics vs slighty harder chins in Bahtov, Hammer and Olukun rematch.

Those 6 would keep his name in the top 10, while positioning himself for a title shot vs a 39-40 Wlad or easy picking in Wilder/Arreola/Jennings/Perez:think
