Its a hard fight motivation wise for Mayweather, and in a comeback of this nature you need some kind of amazing motivation to get anywhere.. Marquez is top class and in a hard fight , you never know... tough fight for a so called tune up match.. i agree..

    From a Mayweather perspective :

A smaller opponent with a high P4P ranking which could mask the fact that the guy has never fought above 135 .

    From a Marquez perspective :

The biggest chance of his career to go down as an ATG !!!!!!

Im going for JMM. For the first time i will be hoping he wins.

Look i love the fact PBF has skills and he plays the villian perfect. But me i hate the Villian and being Aussie we always love a good underdog.

Common JMM i hope you beat the **** out of him. Then we know he wouldnt have lasted 12 rounds with either Pacman or Cotto.

Void has his venue, his referee, his judges, his commentators, so Marquez will have to knock Void out to get a split decision. Remember when Hatton was not allowed to fight on the inside? When ref took a point away from Hatton for hitting a ring rope? This is what the ref is for?

Expect size not to be an issue at all come weigh in time ??????? , what the hell are you talking about , just because Floyd appears 1 inch taller than Marquez in a press conference does not mean that the size issue here has just dissapeared , lets put this into perspective Marquez has never fough above 135 and for large periods of his fight at 135 was bullied by a genuine LW in Diaz , now lets jump up 1 and a half weight divisions and thats where the question marks are quite rightly inserted .

Im not saying this is a mismatch as i beleive style istically this is a good match up and one i beleive Marquez can win , however all you are doing is defending your man's decision to fight such a smaller fighter when genuine WW's are waiting in the wings . As what you are saying for one of a better word is bull **** !!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very excited about this fight. 2 guys with top notch skills, great chins and great stamina.

I think and I hope JMM wins and Pac will fight JMM for his retirement fight.

    Mayweather currently is weighing 146/147.

That's 2-3lbs heavier than the Pac that fought JMM the 2nd time.

Weight is a non factor IMO.

    Bull****.

Marquez never fought above 135 - so what the **** is your point? Do you think he will come at 135 against Floyd by fight time? JMM came in at close to 150 in his last few fights - which is about the same as Floyd's fight time weight.

Diaz bullied him at 135, but guess what..Diaz would have bullied Floyd at 135 as well. Jesus Chavez bullied Floyd and Chavez is no Juan Diaz when it comes to bullying. So what is your point again?

Size will be a negligible factor in this fight. Marquez has a big enough frame to fight at 143 or 147. Pac made 140/147 well and IMO JMM is naturally bigger than Pac, it is obvious when they both stood face to face during weigh ins. JMM was already fighting at 126 when Pac was still fighting at 112.

I certainly hope you're right. On paper it just screams "tune-up" but I'd love to see a competitive fight. Never count out a guy who can bounce back from 3 knockdowns I guess.

    False.

JMM vs Diaz he weighed 140 or 141.

Floyd did weigh 149ish in his last fights but Floyd is currently weighing 146/147.
Floyd is currently 2-3lbs heavier than the Pac that fought JMM at 130.
JMM is not bigger than Pac. He's smaller but all 3 men are close in size Flyod being the biggest, Pac being the middle.

Although when comparing Pac to Floyd in size.

Floyd is made out to be the size of Williams.
