Not so much the results were difficult to predict but the following fights went pretty much exactly how I thought they would: Calzaghe-Hopkins Hopkins-Pavlik Froch-Taylor
Yes, I remember reading it somewhere just before the Pac/hoya fight, I thought you were nuts & I lost money betting on hoya
I picked Hopkins to beat Pavlik, I knew he was gonna school him but I thought it was going to be a bit closer than 12-0.
Where do I start? I have made loads of correct predictions here through the years, mixed with the odd howler admittedly Im right 90% of the time though, & betting men should always have a look at my predictions. That aint me blowing my own trumpet, Im just speaking my mind.
Quintana over Paul Williams in their first fight, 6/1. 4/1 Sprott over Fraudley and I also backed the huge KO prices in 3,4,5 and 6. 3/1 Margo over Cotto. 11/4 Hopkins over Pavlik. 2/1 Wlad over Sam Peter. maybe the best value of all though was 4/7 PBF over Hatton. 11/1 Limond over Khan almost came in, and would have if not for the bent ref. sickener.
I picked Margarito to STOP Cotto, but never checked the odds..... also Hopkins to beat Pavlik easily - getting laughed off the General forum for my troubles My local bookie was offering 80/1 on Prescott to stop Khan in round 1.... after I Boxrec'd him and saw that he was taken the distance by a clown in his previous fight I left alone :fire:
I had pac to stop DLH late but i also said that i thought DLH would take most of the early rounds. I had Hopkins to school Pavlik and Margarito over Cotto too. They are my best in recent times although i have had some shocking picks too. All can be found in a post search except the DLH/Pac fight because i posted that elsewhere as i wasn't posting here at the time due the the seriously over the top pacman nuthugging. I will get it though if anybody tries accusing me of talking rubbish.
Gunn is only 9/1 to beat him Really Gunn has next to no chance you think they would give you something decent to bet on
I wonder if on Betfair you would be better laying money against Gunn rather than betting on Adamek to win...... for some reason the site isn't working properly today but I will probably do the cost exercise to see. Is it worth putting a month's wage on the ****er though for a free night out? :nut
