I hope to god Canelo doesn't try to pull a de la hoya and not train, fake an injury two weeks out, and reschedule 10 weeks later. Lol

Split Decision by GGG only because of a knock down in the middle rounds... no one is getting KOd this fight... both are too talented...

I did say "might" ;) Covering my ass here. If Canelo starts slow he's in trouble.

Well let's look at it, guys who go rounds with Golovkin:

    Gardner - 8 rounds - constantly moving
Ouma - 10 rounds - great engine, great punch resistance, stayed on the inside
    Rosado - 7 rounds - constantly moving
Stevens - 8 rounds - good punch resistance, good power, big MW
Murray - 11 rounds - good punch resistance, constantly moving, big MW
Jacobs - 12 rounds - constantly moving, good power, big MW
    Lemieux - 8 rounds - good power

Which of these attributes does Canelo have?

    Constant mover? no.
    Big MW? no
    Good punch resistance? yes, probably
    Great engine? no
    Good power? no

Canelo the smaller man is going to be in the firing line for 12 rounds with no movement, no engine, good punch resistance. I don't see a case for him, perhaps handspeed will deter Golovkin but I doubt it. The idea of Golovkin being schooled or outboxed? well he's 345-5, it seems unlikely.

Golovkin stoppage, when he drops the hammer. I'll say Round 7 but that might be charitable.

Very good analysis. Canelo will get a lot of Tequila drinkers riled for maybe Ist 5 rounds, then he gets discouraged
because he's landed maybe 4-5 big shots and the man is still standing in front of him- ready to exchange. Kind of like the Stevens fight.
From what I have seen Golvolkin has an A+ iron jaw and if you couple that with power to boot the opponent tends to get into deeper waters by going off plan.
I say 7 round explosive fight with Canelo showing his mettle, but unable to crack that mandible.
Perhaps a rematch and then things might get interesting with GGG'S age being a factor.
throw up his hands and gets into deeper water by not boxing.

Golovkin will have to knock him out, if it goes to the scorecards Canelo wins due to corrupt judges.

GGG takes him out late or wins a unanimous decision. I think the fight will be too lopsided to give to Canelo by a crooked decision. GGG will not want to let this go to the judges so he will be putting the pressure on and since Canelo is generally not a runner the exchanges could be good. Also, GGG knows how to cut off the ring, unlike most fighters. Canelo is in for a long night either way. Wouldn't surprise me at all if GGG stops Canelo with a body shot.

t wont matter how lopsided the fight Canelo gets the decision. Remember this is the NSAC who allowed Mayweather a TUE for the illegal 750 ml of saline he received THREE WEEKS AFTER he'd received it
ROFLMAO!! Mr Mayweather did nothing wrong ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!
