I fancied Audley Harrison to become a legend at Heavyweight. And even after it became painfully obvious to everybody i still thought he could do it.
If anyone told me back in 2012ish that Fury could/would beat David Price I openly laughed in their faces....
I thought Haye could pull it together and beat Bellew in the rematch, I think it was his "bank robber coming back to rob the same bank" story that did it.
Tyson Fury is a bum. He pranced his way around scared old Klitschko and got up from a Wilder right hand - big whoop.
I was on the Wilder train when he faced Stiverne. I Thought he will improve, use his right hand more often and face all the top dogs in the division... NOPE
JMM inspired me to drink my own urine and I haven't looked back since. I have a huge tattoo of Jeff Mayweather's face on my back.
Thought AJ was the next Lennox Lewis right after he beat Wlad and he was gonna clear out the division. When I first got into boxing and didn't know **** thought Naz was unbeatable and could win world titles all the way up to 147 (or higher).
Don had the flu hadnt trained properly was overweight & had to sweat it off. Dave Gorman & Don's trainer Paul Reyes wanted to call the fight off but Muhammad insisted he fought. Don was weak as a kitten. Honeyghan took advantage End of story
That's Wilder's best performance to date. I was quite impressed with him against Stiverne. I thought he answered a few questions that night. Unfortunately, he seems to have regressed as a boxer. Weirdly, the main negative I took from that fight is that maybe his power wasn't as impressive as previously thought. Obviously, that fight was just an anomaly.
I thought Adrien Broner looked like a very good fighter at Junior lightweight and lightweight and had great potential to be even better.
