12-1, (12 KO, 1 Split Decision) - all Amateur and PAL stuff. I was 6'3" and 245 as a Sophomore in High School. Father talked me out of a Golden Gloves Tournament at 17 to join the Olympic team for '96 in Atlanta. Archery was another fondness of mine at the time. I ended up dropping off the Olympic team due to my Father's Untimely Death near the end of 1994.
I was on the Olympic Team for the 96 games until I dropped off after my father died the day before Thanksgiving in 1994. I won Several National Competitions, was ranked by Bowhunter and Several other Magazines as the "Top youth instinctive shooter in North America." I have enough ribbons, plaques, and trophies to fill a swimming pool with. It was something my father and I did together though, since I was 3 years old, and I couldn't bring myself to do it right after he died. Yep.
0-1 i hate making excuses but i lost to a guy a foot taller than me and 11 kilos heavier. hed had 10 or so fights too. he couldnt put me away though.
yeah i was supposed to come in under 81kg and i was 80 all week on my scales. but i came in at 81.8 on the official scales. :bart he struggled to come in under 91
That amount of weight is very easy to sweath off. It's only 800g. You could have put on some layers and skipped for 10 mins... Why were they so strict on weight anyway, was it for a tornament?
It would take alot more than 10 minutes to sweat of 0.8kg, especially if he was already a little weight drained. Up to an hour for me.
****, i take it back then. I couldn't lose anymore than in 2 hours. I've also heard that the fitter u are, the more u sweat. So maybe u guys are fitter than i am.
