I honestly can't remember my exact record, I had at least 10 bouts in my first year of boxing at the age of 11 (I started boxing at 7). I lost a good few of those bouts, but I would put that down to inexperience and not training properly. I probably had between 30-40 bouts. The majority of my wins coming after those early losses and after starting to take the sport seriously, reaching the semi-finals of the ABA's three times.
11-6 after today. Got the biggest win of my career so far. My 17th fight, his 49th. I was kinda sick this week and retaining a lot of water and weighed in at 167. I`m usually 160. He weighed in at 172 so he was quite a bit bigger and stronger than me. Won by split decision (though it should have been unanimous - judges were bad all day). It was the main event too
None so far but Im sparring lots and when the next sub novice tourny rolls around Im hoping I'll be ready. How many rounds sparring would you say it takes to be ready for your first fight?
38-4 18 stoppages 2 of my losses were certified robberies! Some people just don't appreciate defense nowadays.
