yeah its got a proper old school feel about it to which i love about it cause you can just get on with it and theres a good atmosphere.
Went training with the pro's during the day last month before the cotto V Jenning fight and there all dead down to earth as well like jennings, reid, barret etc.

Yeah im pretty sure ardwick lads is still going thats another old school gym

I'm a bit nervous to start boxing, I watch professional boxing so I put this illusion in my head that everyone boxes that good xD

Mine is now 16-10

 

2-0 1 stoppage but im only 13

 

8-8 as a junior
19-4 as a senior

9-6-1 as a pro.

Formerly rated number 9 in UK. Former British Masters and Irish title challenger.

Never won a pro title but beat 3 area and masters champions.

 

I boxed Jamie Spence from Ardwick in the ABA's. He fought Hatton the year before.

 

9-0 as an amateur. Fought in Georgia and Florida.
1-1 as a pro. Both by KO. The only reason I was KO'd was because I wasn't prepared. I was fighting out of weight and because I needed to pay rent. Two wrong ways to fight. Both fights were in Florida. I haven't fought in 4 years, but I'm training again and itching to fight. I've about 30 lbs. to lose first. I'm running everday and busting my ass in the gym. My major problem is my diet..I have one helluva heavy left hook though:nut

 

what age did u start boxing Jeff? Thats a good senior record. How come u were able to box for the Irish title? Irish grandparents?

Jeff thomas I checked your record on Boxrec you fought some very good fighters and did the distance thats impresive

 

Cheers Mik... My mother is from Rathfarnham. Love Ireland and my family history. Think my ma must have had it drilled into me when I was young but i'm as proud a plastic paddy as any man. .... The reason why I give a break down of my Senior and Junior bouts was because I was a bit of a numpty as an amateur to begin with and I twice lost 4 in a row. All majorities. As I got older I learned how to win and what my strengths were.

 

Thanks Micheal IMO I beat Hardcastle and McAllister too but thats neither here not there. The poor form at the end was due to asthma. :thumbsup
