I can see where you're coming from on both points.

Hatton was much better to watch earlier in his career when he was facing limited competition. When he stepped up, he relied far too much on excessive clinching, which I found almost unwatchable.

I enjoyed watching Calderon fight - pure technical excellence, fast hands and superb defence.

    Unlike many, I agreed with the judges in the following fights;

    Mayweather-Castillo I
    Marquez-Pacquiao I
    Taylor-Winky

Abraham would have been a beast if he had an offensive mindset+ an offensive trainer..

Mayweather will not reveal his "secret" until he's retired, because he knows he's going to lose many of his fans.

    1) The Kbros and the Heavyweight division is extremely overrated (at least to Klitlickers)
    2) JCC is overrated
    3) Tito is overrated
    4) Big V quit against Byrd (injury was a story)
    5) A victory when you bust another mans face into hamburger is as legit a victory as any other TKO
    6) Hearns is underrated
    7) Jack Johnson is underrated

Yeah I think hearns would have beat leonard in an immediate rematch. He had the style to beat SRL consistently, SRL was able to pull out the win from behind on points the first fight and thats what makes him an ATG but I dont think he can do that every time or even the majority of the time

The Gatti/Ward trilogy is severely overrated, including the first fight. Gatti also won all 3 handily.

H2H Tommy Hearns is the biggest threat to Roy Jones of the Fab 4

Roy Jones had the talent to crack the ATG top 15, poor decisions and matchmaking prevented that.

Hopkins is still under-appreciated. The man gives any middleweight including SRR a great close fight.

Tito Trinidad had underrated boxing skills, but loaded hand wrap aided power.

Oscar De La Hoya would of been a good champion at best, if he was ugly. His star power due to him being a cross over star allowed him to garner big fight after big fight.

Paulie Mallignagi is massively underrated, to have made a career out of boxing with bad hands and 0 power, is a huge accomplishment.

Sergio Martinez does not stack up to ATG middleweights.

Antonio Tarvers career is built on one thing, the RJJ wins, and that was just great timing, he's never been that good.

Meldrick Taylor had one of the lowest ring IQ's of all time.

His best fight was probably against Jon Thaxton. It was competitive and Hatton came back from a bad cut to win.

His most skilled performance was against Ben Tackie where he showed good footwork and a surprisingly effective jab.

Although it was one-way traffic, his fight with Oliveira was good too.

1st one is controversial but my opinion
and the pacquiao one is just me believing that winning a title while imposing a catchweight and not allowing the welterweight champion to weigh in at the welterweight limit shouldnt count.
