People willl still find a way to discredit Mayweathers win! Sadly using Mayweathers own logic when dragging down Pacs Resume

Mayweather stops him late, I didn't like the damage Pacquiao's face showed against Clottey for the very limited shots Clottey threw. Mayweather will probably outland that 3 times over. Mayweather will ultimately prove to defensively and technically sound for Pacquiao.

I see no evidence of this even being a remote possibility.
In fact, I will bet you $5000 that may does not stop pac.

Pacquiao has shown an increasing ability to follow Roach's gameplans and has used his foot work to create angles and get away quickly. He no longer lunges in like a fool.

I say the first round is more or less uneventful, with Pac darting in and out to land a few shots here and there, while Floyd pot shots him with jabs to the head and body with the occasional right hand. Pacquiao wins on slight activity. From then on, Pacquiao starts setting traps provoking counters and pivoting to the side while throwing effective flurries. Floyd catches him with a few solid ass right hands throughout the first half, but Pacquiao's in-and-out style has him ahead on points, but its close. I say By the sixth round, its either 3-3 or 4-2 for Pacquiao on activity.

Floyd starts ad******g in the second half and starts coming forward more, offsetting Pacquiao and not allowing him to get started, landing 1-2's and a few counter-hooks to Manny's left straights. Pacquiao's head snaps back, , but he's not hurt or buzzed.

Mayweather picks up the pace in this fashion until around 9, where Pacquiao starts coming back strong after taking some good shots. His instinct is to fight back, and so he starts changing the pace and creating angles making a game-plan made adjustment they prepared for. Pacquiao starts coming in strong and throwing more and more with bad intentions. Some land, some don't, but the late rounds have him up on activity overtaxing Floyd's defense. 11 and 12 are more aggressive, with both fighters trading. In the end, It's 7 rounds to 5, Pacquiao, UD.

Mayweather has simply never had to deal with the handspeed, footspeed, punching pop and outstanding workrate all in one. It will be a competitive fight with Floyd bringing out his best, but Pacquiao's activity and gameplan utilizing traps and different angles throughout the fight gets him the win.

Pacquiao is unlikely to stop Mayweather late. If he's going to do it, it'll be in the first 4 rounds where he might, just might, be able to catch Mayweather before he's had time to figure Pac out completely and find his rhythm.

:good, if pac gets the nod it'll be through his work rate in a close and competitive fight. Void is too good defensively to get knocked out by someone who isn't a Thomas Hearns.

    Anyways, Void stops him late.

That's a bold bet considering the following:

    • Pac has been KO'd
    • Pac was hurt BADLY by Marquez in both fights
    • Pac was very findable against Cotto
    • Pac was marked up by Clottey who landed "infrequently"
    • Pac stands to get hit by Mayweather more than ever
Yep, bolt bet and I admire your guts if you bet $5K on that.

    It's easy money to me.
Mayweather hasn't showed any indication of stopping power above 135. His stoppage of hatton was sloppy and 300 left hooks to the chin into the fight.

I would take this bet without any hesitation.

Floyd will frustrate pac by insulting him while giving the illusion of ducking the fight ala haye and on fight night pac will let out all his rage in round 1, however Floyd utilizes his superior defense and traps Pac amidst his own emotional fury and tags Pac with many clean shots with even more unexpected aggression than in his fight against Shane, throwing accurate counter-flurries, and stops Pac in the first round via Hatton check hook, exponentially raising his crowd appeal and becoming GOAT and an hero.

    :deal

Neither Floyd nor Manny are ko puncher's in the 147lb division. This will be similar to Hopkins/Calzaghe, not the same, but similar. Both Floyd and Pacquiao have proved they have good chins. They will stun each other and land occasional clean powershots, but this fight is going the distance. Pacquiao is too strong, too active, too fast to get stopped.

Floyd will try to break Manny down one potshot at a time and then kick in the defense. Manny will go to the body just like he did with Clottey if he can't find Floyd's head he'll use that right hook to go around Floyd's guard. Pretty much what will happen is Floyd will land the cleaner shots, with Pacman being the more active. I think he will take Floyd's shots pretty well also. Most importantly he wont be fighting Floyd's fight where Floyd is used to having a fighter just standing there right in front of him like with Oscar, Hatton, Baldomir, etc. Manny will be using angles on Floyd and that is going to confuse the **** out of Mayweather. That will force Floyd to use his jab more and come forward, taking him out of his game.

Both will have their moments, but if this isn't a draw, I think Pacquiao takes it by a hair. It's a fight that will bring out the best out of both fighters and a fight that could go either way.

Yep Floyd's 10-0 (4 KO's) since he moved above 135 but he shook Oscar to his boots and Mosley wasn't looking to clever last month either.

I wouldn't rule out a stoppage but I do see your point dude!
