he does not have many left, after circus with Jake Paul he lost some fans, then after not being aginst war in Ukraine he lost most if not all.

Also was aginst demonting USSR monument, bassically pro putin.

In Latvia this fight was not shown as gesture that he is not supported.

Yeah I’m just toying with that guy hilariously crying his ass off. I could see an argument for Briedis as well, the official scorecards were just about spot on imo

I missed whatever the Jake Paul thing was. Personally I think it’s ridiculous that people are expected to be for or against a side in a war, wtf does an athlete have to do with that ****?

    114-114 Draw

I don't think i can remember last time i scored a shut out for both fighters in two halves of the fight, Optetaia won all the early rounds based on his boxing, ring generalship, landing all the effective punches left hand, jab, occasional uppercut.

Breidis won all the later rounds based on his power punching with the right hand, and being the effective aggressor.

I could see 115-113 either way have no problem with Opetaia winning a close decision.

He posted a video where he appeared to get an "I love Jake Paul" tattoo in order to challenge JP to a fight.

Ffs hahaha yeah that should kill your fan base.
Why would he need to stoop to that level, is he struggling for funds?

I thought it was hilarious. I do wonder though, was it a real tattoo? They make good looking fakes these days.

If it was real, it was dark black and pretty large. Impossible to cover unless you want a big black square on your leg.

I couldn't do anything like that but I appreciate people who don't take things too seriously. We all come from dust and to dust all return (including our dumbest tattoos).

Opetaia edged for me, got to say I'm very impressed by his heart and fight. Briedis too, unfortunately for him he's lost a step and that would've made the difference.

I had no idea. I will root against him for the rest of what he has left of his career.

Scored it a straight up 114-114 draw. Could see 115-113 for either. Anyone calling this razor-close fight a robbery is, as is often the case, WAY off the mark.

Breidis won by breaking the jaws. The Aussie will duck the rematch.
