Your right Slip he beat Crawford on British leg of Lewis-Holyfield I. I've heard of Horace Notice and Floyd Havard never seen there work though.

Neville Brown was brilliant, him vs Cherifi was a battle. He fought in very good company.

Glenn Catley always gets overlooked really i noticed, world champion who tbh beat Woodhall by a absolute mile that night only reason i was happy he lost was i had a bet with my dad that Woodhall would win. Woodhall was supposedly weight drained drinking loads of orange juice at weigh in IIRC. I struggled to give him a few rounds..

Yep. Catley was a good fighter and he DID beat Woodhall. Richie admitted it didn't he, i think in the post fight interview. You've gotta respect Woodhall. Class act!

That's another feature of the 90's, Mand. The Guzman syndrome. The only thing though was that there was no implosions like with Joan because the fighters were warriors and always made it. A lot of fighters didn't understand the science of weight making though.

Yep your right he did, he looks embarrassed by the decision. Yeah spot on Slip there wasn't talk of nutritionists and that back then. Guys today are really lucky to have these people are there disposal.

Wharton was a tough fighter. Very good on his day. and maybe unlucky not to get a strap at world level. The quiet man of that era. Anyone seen his blood bath with Rod Car? that was a great win considering the circumstances.

Henry Wharton had a saying "Everytime i jab, i need to do it twice just to make sure" lol. I love that saying because i can relate to it.

True story with me: Ever since I was in school I've been setting my watch exactly 7 mins fast. Some of the kids would make fun of me so I had to come up with the story that my favourite footballer wears number 7 and I'm just paying respect to him. I had everyone in class setting their watch by their favourite footballers jersey number and never had the heart to tell anyone that it was OCD and my fear of being late, LOL!

:lol: That's class Slip!. I still struggle with OCD to this day, suppose it won't go unless you see a doctor. I just like to deal with things on my own in this type of case. It doesn't ruin my life but it's really ****ing annoying .

Same here, Mand. I ain't seeing no doctor for it either. (That makes it seem like there's something wrong with me, lol!). I've carried it for years and it's just part of me now. It's not severe though, thankfully. Just double checking when i lock the door or cleaning things more than they need to be cleaned. I think my condition is more in action than in thoughts. I was told that if you see it as irrational than it just gets worse, it's better just to embrace it and as you say, learn to live with it.
