In each weight class, old or new. Presume this is an international wordwide competition. Who do you have at the weight that will bring home a win ? Call it your Pro select. Who do you nominate from your country to hold it down, old or new, young or old in there selected weight division ?
Canada: Heavyweight: If Lewis isn't available? Then it's a toss-up between Ruddock and Chuvalo. Light Heavyweight: Jack Delaney Middleweight: Sam Langford Welterweight: Jimmy McLarnin Lightweight: Arturo Gatti, I guess. Featherweight: George Dixon Bantamweight: Johnny Coulon Flyweight: Frenchy Belanger
Brilliant !!!!!!! I was going to say, if 3 or 5 suffice, then thats fine. Some names i dont know, will check out. Thanks
****, this is tough for me... Heavyweight-Sam Langford Super Middle-Eric Lucas Welterweight-Mysterious Billy Smith or Jimmy McLarnin (if I'm allowed to steal him from Ireland) Junior Lightweight-Arturo Gatti Featherweight-George Dixon That's all i got for now. Essentially, the only shot we have is at heavyweight. O CANADA!!!
Yeah, actually with the line-up posted, we have some pretty decent contenders at most of the weights.
i had trouble placing langford...though he likely does have a better shot at middleweight than heavy. still, if we can place him at 168 he could dominate!
