Spinks has the better jab, he showed vs Cooney he could engage a big man and out-boxed a quicker smarter Holmes. So he's shown he can do it, if in parts.

Vitali throws his punches, Spinks uses his faster feet to step in and counter jab, possibly rattle in a straight right or two, and keeps boxing in the pocket with Vitali. It's risky, but if someone could breakdown and guide someone into beating Vitali Klitschko, it's Eddie Futch. I think Spinks' jabbing clinic vs Qawi could feasibly be adapted and rejigged to work for a slower, albeit bigger, target with fundamental flaws.

Spinks was hurt by Holmes though, so it's always likely Vitali nails him and takes him out, but aside from Hide and Adamek, who did he do that too?

Dunno about that first one, they weren't even the same weight.

    Second one is good.

    Brandon Rios over Duran...

    Jk.

I'd favor Qawi over Moore. I guess that's the most controversial upset I can think of.

You're not alone with that one.

I'd favor the Pac of the first Barrera fight over Sanchez.

Another one... Ismael Laguna, the one from the first Ortiz fight, would outbox Chavez IMO.

Well, I'm sorry to say it mate, but that's not what I think anymore. A good counter puncher with above average whiskers and not half of the movement of Sánchez in Márquez arguable is 4-0 vs Pacquiao, giving him massive problems throughout. That being considered, I think a guy like Sánchez, who has much better footwork, is a more crisp and effective counter-puncher, and has the better whiskers whilst being quicker than Márquez does it better and takes the fight.

Pac was sloppy and overly aggressive at 126, without stellar balance and no plan b, his lack of lead hand would mean that Sánchez can get used dealing with the lefty quicker and shut down Pac's one dimensional offence easier. He'd take some kind of decision, probably 9-6, wining clearer and clearer as goes deeper. A tad like the Nelson fight (in essence not styles).

Pacquiao's athleticsm and toughness lets him win a bunch of rounds in which he breaks through Sánchez's guard. It'd definitely be Sánchez's best win, and Pacquiao would piece Gomez at 126.

I can see an argument either way for Sanchez-Pac, but I tend to think Marquez was more a style issue for Pac given Marquez's fantastic straight right. He just had the perfect style to be Hell for Manny.

I'd pick Sanchez over Marquez, and rather clearly, but I think Sal would have a plethora of problems with Pac's handspeed and straight left.

I like this one, Willie Joyce is another guy I think would turn the trick vs Chavez. Thing is, I doubt it'd even be Joyce's best win.

    :bump

I dunno if I'd go as far as saying I'd pick him to win, but Jose Legra looks like an awful match up for Salvador Sanchez. If Ford can arguably duke out a draw with his length, and herky-jerky rhythm, then Legra could do better IMO. He's quicker, more skilled and more proven.
