Nice thread, mine are: Glen Johnson above all Carl Froch (used to be a hater now a fan) Manny Pacquiao (used to be a sceptic up to 2008) Sergio Martinez (needs no explanation) Bernard Hopkins (never disappoints, incredible resume) Juan Manuel Marquez (entertaining, honest, skilled, complete fighter and warrior) Tomasz Adamek (great attitude and discipline) Paul Williams (still) Gamboa the Klitschkos thats all I got
Andre Ward ( Has the goods, 5 tool fighter, good colset of tricks, will stop fighting at home soon hopefully to scilence the Critics) Robert Guerrero ( the example of hustle and heart, has almost gothis fight game together..big challenges ahead, im amazed how far he has gotten.. Im hopeing for much more success for him) Nonito Donaire ( Underrated for a min.. His boxing is intellegent, smart and powerful..big guy who fights in lower weight classes..Working up a nice progression towards higher weight classes.. Montiel will be a test but I think he KO's him and keeps it moving.. ) James Kirkland ( killer beast with all offence..! will walk through a mine field to K'O and overwhelem his opponent.. Saw him fight Joel tha Love Child Julio.. 2nd Degree murder... Hope he finds a real trainer, Defense and a fight with Angulo...to reach full potential) Yuriorkis Gamboa ( another offensive star who if only would disipline himsilf to learn good Devinisve and transition to offense techniqe.. would be complete.. He beat John sensless early if they fight or loses late because of mental laps/inactivity and John boxing his ears off consistntly... He Beats lopez cause Gamboa chin is greater than Lopez and I think I have seen Lopez fall much more than Gamboa.. Alfredo Angulo ( El Pero needs to get his **** together.. Love his style.. think a slick boxer with power beats him.. Kirkland and him match up is all out war.. these two will make my year if they fight.. Pero is slightly above and overachiver and is a nightmare to fight for many fighters out there Bernard Hopkins ( Dirty old Grampa who will lure you into mind games, has tricks, and will travel.. B Hop is a tough customer and continues to live up to his commentmit to excellence in the ring..At 46.. Don't think he beats Dawson unless Dawson doesn't find his motivation, or gets caught up in the mind games... Pascal exposure is B Hops calling card..he has done it time and time again.. Tito, Golden Boy.. Respect to B Hop as a champ.. Floyd Mayweather ( I call Floyd D LOCK..Defence is nasty..he unlocks fighters like a rubics cube... once he figures you out.. he pin points that weakness.. and coast to victory.. not pretty all the time... lol hence the name change to money.. cause its all about winning not looking great in fights...lol just think the Floyd vs Manny is just a bunch of postering hype.. they are buliding this **** up to gain $$$ of epic porportions..and while they are building it up... while we are over here acting crazy chosing sides... Its gonna go down people.. Goodthings come to those who wait.. so this 2011 it will go down... Juan Manuel Marquez ( This guy is hard work, skill, power, technique and heart rolled into 1 PLUS he is D LOCK II.. He unlocks fighters second to Floyd Mayweather, Like Mayweather he has 1 opponent that has givin him problems.. and that opponent is not Pac.. its Chris John, John is Marquez one problem.. if they remached in the states Marquez wins the rematch.. Say what you want.. the only time this guy look out matched were Round 1 of the first fight with Pac... and the fight with Mayweather.. He fought Pac to a Draw in that first fight (D LOCK) and look bad against D LOCK #1 other than that..close fights.. heading to the Hall of Fame..I respect his work wish he would have fought Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Moralas in thier primes... but inthe end he will come out to be better than them both... Devon Alexander ( tough one here.. it was between DA and Andre Berto.. DA gets the nod.. just hopeing he lives up the hype.. no more fighting inhis hometown for this guy..he is gonna **** around and end up like Corey Spinks.. He has the goods just hope he sews up that hole that Kotelnik exposed in his game.. His fight vs Desert Storm will be good imsure.. Tim Bradley just win style just rubsme the wrong way.. I have enough fighters like that in my top 10 that I already support (Andre Ward, Floyd Mayweather) DA beats Kahn.. Don't know about Marcos but the blueprint is out on him(body work) DA is the next king of 140.. also keep him away from old Judah..but I think DA wins that one too..
