1. AJ 2. DW 3. JP 4. Luis O 5. Povetkin 6. H Fury 7. Pulev 8. Takam 9. Whyte 10. A Ruiz * Tyson Fury not active ** I'm basing this top 10 not on highlight KO's, but who will win the decision when pitted against each other.
Joshua - Best resume, undefeated and prime, only unified title holder, beaten 4 of my top 10, clear number 1 Wilder - Undefeated, title holder, prime, resume is weak but has one top 5 win Povetkin - 2nd best resume but past prime, former title holder, best days are behind him, but still a top fighter Parker - Former title holder, young, has one top 10 win against Takam and some other solid top 20 level wins Ortiz - Past prime, but dangerous came close to beating Wilder and beat Jennings who is a decent top 15-20 fighter Pulev - Past his best, but solid resume, beat Chisora more convincingly than Whyte Whyte - Prime but got a couple of name wins, did better vs Joshua than Breazeale Takam - Past prime, but given 2 top 5 fighters tough fights. Breazeale - Prime, has 2 name wins, but yet to prove he can beat a genuine top 20 fighter Miller - Prime, undefeated, couple of name wins but nobody special. Tyson Fury - inactive but when he does return I'd place him 1 or 2. With a win over Wlad and a convincing win over prime Chisora the only fighter than can rank higher is Joshua and even that's debatable.
Takam doesn't really have any serious wins and lost clearly whenever he stepped up Breazeale beat Izu who was a top 20 talent. Takam doesn't have a win that good.
When Tyson Fury comes back and schools AJ and maybe even knocks him out (depending how Joshua decides to fight) will Fury become the GOAT? Must be right up there with Lennox.
your boy can't even get in proper shape... lets see how he looks vs a top 20 or top 10 guy before we go saying he will knock aj out . you fury fans really are as crazy as that gypsy nut himself.
Some of you lot seriously overrate Carlos Takam. Already lost 3 of the Top 10, id fancy Ortiz, Pulev, Whyte, Breazeale, Miller to all beat him.
Ftfy. He has fought 3 of the top 5 guys and given all of them very stiff tests. It's ironic that you fancy Whyte and Breazeale to beat Takam yet Takam gave a more developed version of Joshua a better fight than those two. He is clearly not in the top 5, but there has to be an argument that he is in the top 10.
But at least Takam has stepped up and proven himself and been competitive at the top level. Sure Breazeale beat Ugonoh but how good is Izu really? Izu has beaten nobody of note, only name I recognise on his record is Julius Long a perennial journeymen. Takam beat an old Toney Thompson coming off a wins over Price and Solis. He also drew with Mike Perez but that was a robbery he should of got the decision over Perez and I'd put that as good as a win over Izu. Plus Takam did better vs Joshua than Breazeale did, so I can't rank Breazeale over Takam.
