Met Curtis Woodhouse at a few shows in dudley when he was training in brum. Was very approachable and chatted.

Ricky Hatton was sound gutted I couldn't get a pic he was warming up his fighter at the time.

Also josh warrington and his dad. Sean was brilliant with my lad(10) who was upset at his uncle losing on points. Spent a good 15 mins with him top bloke

Haven’t met him but my dad did a decent amount of training with Tony Booth in the late 80s/early90s. Never saw him again but upon hearing of his death from my grandad some 25 years later he sent me and my brothers a copy of his book with a message in each one. His note told me to google his Ali shuffle ko straight after being taunted in a fight haha.

If anybody hasn’t seen it. Anyway, nice touch.

The nicest boxer I have ever met is Julius Francis. He was going about his daily business and wasn't on the doors at the time. Great bloke and a terrific boxer who'd give the likes of Joshua and Whyte hell.

Special mention to Howard Clakka Clarke. We were at a big fund raiser and I spotted him, no one else recognised him, made sure I got a pic, and a chat about the Vargas fight.

    Arv Mittioo another great guy

Clarke did more than ok that night, bearing in mind he was barely in the British top ten at the time they boxed.

Bumped into Shannon Courtenay today, casually strolling through our office with her fiance I think to take some furniture as we're moving offices.

    Nice girl.

    He really was.

Definitely an absolute in the "who needs him" club.

I always thought he'd stand Hagler on his head in '86/87 (controversial opinion)!

Josh Taylor - Nice guy. Had plenty time for everyone and was happy to be in photo’s.

Buncey - Funny guy. Think I caught him bursting for a pee but he still had a little interaction about an upcoming channel 5 boxing card.
