I know Richie Woodhall very well, and have met most of his boxers. Got sparked as a 16yr old by Pele Reid in a street fight, used to drink with Bunny Johnson too.

I met junior whitter, who was a sound bloke-happily signed my programme with a smile and a quick chat.
my brother met Ricky Hatton on a charity night out,and got him to sign a 30th birthday card for me!-even said he was a nice (very drunk) bloke.
I sat next to Matt Scriven on a Nottingham show (one he actually wasn't fighting on!).He was a real nice bloke who happily spoke to me about the undercard prospects.

Met quite a few but want to use this post to say how nice Ian Napa was. He had time for us and happily posed for photographs.

Also I met Spencer Fearon. He was quite quiet which surprised me because he calls himself the biggest mouth in british boxing. But he was a nice bloke, offered my Dad ringside tickets for free for his next show.

my friend met quite a few at vegas for hatton mayweather. he didnt speak to many of them as he managed to bundle back stage at the weigh in and wanted all the fotos before he got kicked out.

went up to joe c and enzo mac and asked for foto. enzo in his modesty asked my mate if he wanted him to take it. no i dont replied my mate, i want you in it too!

he said sugar shane was sound and happily posed. oscar too. the only one who had a problem was bernard whose entourage said he isnt doing fotos. my mate rather bravely (pissed) said i have travelled thouysands of miles and spend thousands of pounds and i want a foto. bernard grudgingly gave the photo and it looks like my mate has him in a headlock too to add to the indignity!

my mate is cheeky and always grabs a celeb for a foto. he has loads in his collection. funnily enough we also got james blunt at airport on ay there and he was sound and then in a vegas club after fight the 8 of us grabbed a bloke walking past and he took our foto. he struggled with the camera so we ripped the **** a bit god naturedly. he finally managed to take the pic. `10 secs later 2 american girls come up. '

    know who that was?'

    no we reply.

I met Chris Eubank a couple of times at ameteur shows when I was a kid. He was the only pro i met at shows who used to make a point of walking around the changing area shaking everyones hand and wishing all the boxers luck.

    A really good bloke

    met...

floyd patterson...quiet man he was, nice guy though
barry mc guigan - didnt like him much, he was more interested in talking to my missus when i was trying to talk to him :)...the **** :)
wayne mc cullough - very sound lad....down to earth
bernard dunne - he was pretty bust up when i met him after he won his title against cordoba but was still polite enough to take time with us
tyson fury - he's a big fooker :)...seems alright...when you shake hands with him though, he has these very very soft, small, almost woman like hands, seriously...weird as fook thinking how hard he hits...
sugar ray leonard - a gentleman, took time to chat a while and showed my boy some stances...
steve collins - decent man, spent an hour with him last time i met him, told me lots about his time in boston, other time it was just a brief meeting...
paulie mallinaggi - seems like a good kid
    amir khan - gentleman
andy lee - seems sound from the brief meeting i had with him
eamonn magee - i was having a great chat with him till healy came along :)...then magee started on healy.....seriously...

can't think who else at the moment...

oh...and not a boxer..but i met enzo calzaghe at an alarm gig in wales about 18 months back....had a good chat with him, although i couldnt understand a fookin word he was saying to me...

I met Nicky Booth at 3am as i was going into a kebab shop in Nottingham one time.

He asked me for a couple of quid for a taxi home (which for some reason i gave him)....then when i came out with my kebab he was sat in the middle of the road with two cans of Special Brew

All my experiences have been good really. Can't re-call all the ones i have met at the moment..

But for the ones i can remember..

Nigel Benn was a class act.
All the olympians are top lads, especially Gavin who seemed to have the most time for us.
John Murray i met just before his last fight and was in a bit of a rush, but stopped for a picture which was good. And he punched gloves with us on his way out of the ring into the changing rooms
I sat behind Tyson Fury at the Murray/Buckland fight and had a couple of chats with him, was a nice bloke.
There are a few others but everyone has been pretty genuine.
