I like Dubois, I don't care that he doesn't have the greatest defense, the guy is exciting as hell in there.

Also that big Russian guy fighting out of Montreal with the ****ed up name, he is 6.5 and hits very hard. Exciting for sure.

shame about that other Russian guy turning pro so late of age, watched him in the am's a few times and wow can he hit hard too,

I also really like that Dychko guy, could be a little soft to go all the way but its fun watching a guy 6.9 with such good hand speed.

I've been seeing a lot of talk of Makhmudov lately. I really don't expect much from him.

I am still waiting for someone to tell me why.

What fight can I watch on Youtube, and what specifically is he doing so well in it?

I'm not sure his chin is as good as advertised. Magomed Omarov KO'ed him with a signle punch in the amateurs, with headgear on and pillow glowes:

Yes, but he actually won a fight against Mehzhidov before that and had that war with Nistor in World Series of Boxing. I think Omarov hits really hard and landed a perfect punch, a shame that. he never turned pro.

I Agree with you about nearly anything, Ajagba is still a work in progress and could be great or not so great.
Yoka is kinda overrated, he's fast and moves a lot, but he still gets hit a lot and was stopped multiple times in the amateurs and was holding on for dear life in his 2nd pro fight against Rice. He's just fast for the sake of being fast, a bit like a HW version of Khan.
Vianello looks really good, I want to see him against a durable guy to see if he has power. He couldn't do anything to Makhmudov in World Series of Boxing, but at that point he was just 20 years old, while Makhmudov was 25. He took a beating in the first round, didn't go down and tried to fire back durning the next 2 rounds before the stoppage because of a cut. Makhmudov hurts guys who are known for having a good chin with every power punch he lands, so Vianello's chin looks to be really solid.
Frank Sanchez looked good in his last fight, working with Canelo's coach helped him a lot, he stuck with a gameplan and wasn't drawn into a brawl like in some of his earlier fights.

Yeah, it's a shame. I think Omarov was way better than Makhmudov - same size and power, but MUCH better skills, better reflexes, better footwork... Omarov was really talented guy, but it seems that mentally he just wasn't there for whatever reason. He regressed dramatically from 2012 to 2016. Although other guys (Joyce, Hrgovic, Yoka) didn't look anywhere near as good as he did in 2011-2012, they were top SHWs at the 2016 Olympics, and Omarov couldn't even get there losing in the Olympic qualifiers to Ukrainian fighter Rostyslav Arkhypenko, who was very small, lacked power, wasn't the most skilled guy but was just mentally tough

Yes, but as far as I can remember Omarov has always struggled more with shorter opponents who have a speed advantage, his best work always came against other tall guys who couldn't handle his combination of handspeed, footwork and power. No idea why he regressed so much, maybe it was his fault, maybe he was a victim of the old eastern block style of training where they start training really hard at a young age and are burned out in the mid 20ies, who knows.

There is many I rate and like, but in particular Oleksandr Zakhozhyi has impressed me. 6ft 9 huge young guy with a good jab, speed and power. He is improving at a fast rate.

And make no mistake. As soon as Murat Gassiev makes his long awaited heavyweight debut there will be highlight reel KOs galore, and he will be a name on all the lips of boxing forum posters.

Don't know if Kownacki still counts because hes gone into sort of fringe contention being highly ranked by the sanctioning bodies until his loss but I really enjoy watching his fights win lose or draw hes got a very entertaining style
Tim Moten also has a entertaining style Im keeping an eye on him I think he could do good in the future

Where is Omarov. Why doesn't he jump in the pros?
