    Lennox lewis was a huge ali fan. That was even the charity he played for on the apprentice. I dont know if marciano's idol was joe louis but i know he had huge admiration for him and felt terrible beating him up .

    Good thread.

    I remember Floyd saying once that the boxers he would most liked to have fought were Pernell Whitaker and Aaron Pryor. Dunno if that makes them his favourites but thought it was interesting anyway.
