Mmm I'm not sure about myths but I do have some facts you might like:

1: Mosley had him on ***** street in round 2.

3: de la Hoya would have beat him if he kept throwing the jab.

all good points but none of it will mean anything to most of the people that reply to this thread as evidenced by the first two responses. I gave up trying to use logic in posts when it comes to floyd and pac a long time ago...i suggest you do the same.

 

i did, but the fact that ricky weighed 152 is irrelevant. he was a welter on fight night, same as floyd. and it probably didn't effect him: he would have lost at any weight. but don't act like hatton is a welter: he's not. floyd was not a natural 154 pounder when he fought oscar, he was a blown up 140 or 147 pounder. hatton came up in weight, that's the point.

how did oscar stop throwing the jab? Not sure but the reason I know is I watched the fight. he did, just watch the first 6 and watch the last 6. now, was it taking away from him by floyd through well timed right hand counters? Sure as **** didn't hurt. But he threw it less. Watch it again and ignore useless punchstats (unless you WANT to use punchstats alone to justify an argument, in which case castillo won)

Meh, Floyd did duck Margarito and Pacquiao, that doesn't mean he wouldn't beat those guys though, he would be the betting favorite in both fights and he would probably win. He's just being a stubborn baby and he needs to get in the ring and fight or just retire, tired of hearing him talk about the super fight without actually trying to make it happen, he's trying to defeat Pacquiao through the media without actually fighting him or something it's grown tiresome.
