Oh look at you pulling rank. For some perspective, I saw Oscar win gold at Barcelona. Anyhoos, I was just being honest. :nutcase

I like the Mayorga whoopin' too, especially after all the **** he talked before. The left hook in the 1st was a thing of beauty, a sweet revenge.

Certainly not a beating. Can't give Oscar more than 4 rounds though. But definitely not a "masterpiece".

And impossible to place it as your favourite Oscar fight.

    Same with the Pac fight.

Please, look at some Oscar fights if you think Floyd or Pac are your favourites. The man put on some entertaining fights!

My all time favorite has to be the Hopkins fight. Nice left hook to the "leever" and Oscar's down for the count with a big stinky load in his shorts.

Not an Oscar fan, I presume?

Not having a go, but the Hopkins fight was far from entertaining.

Especially comparing it to say, Mosely 1, Vargas or Quartey.

    ALL action packed, entertaining fights.

Not the most entertaining Oscar fight, and far from Oscar "outboxing" Whitaker.

    Out working him, maybe.

But a fight which many, including myself, scored for Whitaker.

    Fair game.

    To each his own.

I think I had the fight something like 5-3 at the time.

Oscar did well in parts, but was clearly outmatched by the larger man (who, in his own right, was a very very skilled fighter).

Hopkins at 156 though. I could see a more dominating performance had he been 158-159+

The fan boys are in full effect of course. Quarte fight for me with the passionate Vargas scrap a close second. I can appreciate a good DeLaHoya fight even if Oscar is fish net wearing, prostitute roughing, dope fiend weirdo. I know I wouldn't tangle with him...bad choice of words:-(
