I like the rematch with the fat crap, bloated corpse of Bermane Stiverne. Anyone who turns up for a heavyweight title fight in that shape should rightfully get put to the sword, and yes, Wilder deserves absolutely zero credit for that win....
Ortiz. Wilder got beat from pillar to post and still had the engine and heart to slump a boxer that was better than him in almost every area (skill set, footwork, chin, technique). That win really should've quieted alot of people on Wilder's mettle (actually answered alot for me, who wasn't and still isn't a big fan).
I am haunted by the image of Stiverne's inanimate body folded partly on the canvas and against the ropes as Wilder storms away accidently kneeing stivern in his inanimate head. A truly devastating knockout. It's like the scene in Alien: Covenant when Walter the android gets deactivated by David.
1. Wilder vs Ortiz because of the change of momentum 2. Wilder vs Stiverne 2 because of the stylish and badass finish 3. Wilder vs Duhaupas because it was such a prolonged vicious beatdown and i like that.
Artur szpilka. A bit of fun pre fight beef, the fight was certainly entertaining enough and close enough to be deemed dramatic and it ended with what I feel is the best punch wilders thrown in his career. One hell of a shot.
