Not really. Perception is most of reality.

The majority feel Dirrell won, the majority feel Dirrell would win a rematch, the majority feel Carl Froch is a no talent ass clown.

Thus the fact that 2 out of 3 judges in Froch's hometown saw the fight in his favor despite the majority perception is in itself proof of Dirrell's victory.

I think the majority of posters have a similar opinion of that fight as me. Dirrell probablly deserved the 'w', but both fighters looked totally clueless and inept. Dirrell didn't want to fight, and Froch couldn't cut off the ring!

Indeed perception is reality when it comes to things like speed , time or colour even but in a boxing match only 3 perceptions count , and you and I both know who those three are.

The majority of the rest of the world thinks Americans are warmongering , obese , ****wits. I know that not to be true but does the the fact the majority hold that opinion thus make it true ?

In the polls most had Dirrell winning because he clearly outlanded Froch round on round. If you dont believe start a poll

Of course not. American perception easily trumps foreignor perceptions by an average of 90%. For instance if America would decide that Scotland would no longer be called Scotland but Spongebob, then thats what Scotlands new name will be. Read the UN handbook.

Boxing fans widely consider Whitaker beat Chavez, Lewis beat Holy (twice), and msot certainly don't consider Otke an undefeated great champion. The judges give us the official result but obviously that isnt all that counts

I just phoned my congressmen, he told me America will have a vote at the end of the month that Scotlands new name be changed to Spongebob. The new language, denoted as Sea Turtle, and currency, the crabby patty.

When Taylor got KO'ed by AA. It was too bad for him but I could imagine the funny faces of some posters.

    "Damn, he didn't deserve that"
"He should've finished on his feet"
    ...

Polls on ESB dont represent the views of the general fan.
Many who thought Froch won, or those who thought it was to even, wont bother to vote in the polls because more often than not there started by Dirrel fans or those pro dirrel who are outraged and not worth discussing the fight with given the fact theyv made it clear they saw it one way, the Dirrel way.
That might explain why the ESB polls often end one sided to Dirrel.
