    What are some fights that you love to watch, that don't get any recognition....we all know everybody loves FOTC, Thrilla in manilla, Hagler Hearns etc. to the point that I am tired of hearing about them!!!

    What fights do you love and wonder if anyone else appreciates them as much as you do???

    Personally I never get tired of watching Minter vs Antuofermo I, and find it one of the most closely contested encounters ever, maybe the most difficult to score that I have ever seen! Anyone else got any????

    Philly, you've created a bookmark-worthy thread only two comments in, man. I only see a few classic posters talking this one up, but Locche VS Fuji is mesmerizing to me. I'd watch it any time. I discovered it within the past year for the first time thanks to youtube surfing. It became an immediate classic for me. Seen it several times since. Check out PetethePrince's highlight of it. Terrific.

    I always remember how emotional Brodie was after the rematch, the interviewer said something to the effect of 'it's a real shame you never got a world title, after what happened with Jorrin etc', and he got a bit angry, but because he was gutted, Brodie said something like 'what do you mean mate, i've been a world champ, i won the ibo didn;t i?'

    I think it was ibo he had anyway, i felt for him a bit there

    Olivares vs Castillo 2. Great all Mexican affair with Castillo boxing beautifully against the favourite who was cut early in the fight.

    First fight I thought of this one.

    Also which I didn't notice at the time was what a great refereeing performance in a wild fight it was by poor Mitch Halpern.

    Authorative yet fair much like his performances in the first Holy-Tyson fight and also the Holyfield-Lewis rematch.

    God knows why Tysons camp objected to his officiating the rematch.

    I know we all just mainly think of just the fighters but a sad loss to boxing was Mitch Halpern.:-(
