He had the best jab in HW history, but brutal? Nah if so Norton never would have went the distance.

He didn't have the power of Foreman or Shavers to knock out Norton but he hit hard enough to knock out anybody if he landed on them with several good punches.

When Ali would load up on his right and left hook it was brutal. Liston said after the first fight that he was the one who hit him the hardest

Don’t believe that unless he said it to deflect from the fact that he quit on his stool despite not looking really hurt at any time in the fight

That was a hard af shot but the stoppage was bs. Ali was in an insecure position in the eyes of the public after battling for 15 rounds looking pretty bad compared to his pre exile form and when he dropped Ringo he whaled at him as soon as he got up, and due to his kind of bad balance he fell 2 more times. To me my least favourite Ali moment.

You're required to like him, according to the OP. Are you still happy with your choice? :)

Sanchez, I suppose. Also Myung Woo Yuh, who was an extraordinary swarmer who would have stopped a lot of guys a lot sooner if he had any real power.

Interestingly though, he stopped two consecutive challengers in the 15th round, which is highly unusual.

Chris Byrd, yes he was boring to some, but it takes a lot of skill to have the success he had with no power being a natural Super Middleweight or whatever he was.
