I have posted on more than one occasion that Ali was a heavier puncher than he is normally given credit for, and feel his thudding, hurtful, and heavy punches landed on Frazier in FOTC, make the contest a lot closer than the score cards and judges made it, that said, it's not a true and fair reflection to say " 37 kos " because, for instance, the 2 Quarry fights were not such, fom memory the Lyle fight was not a KO, in the true sense of the wordage, their were prob many more where the ref stopped the fight, or the 3 KD rule was in place, cuts, opponents not wanting to continue, etc, J Jackson and a few others aside, prob not that many fighters have levelled for the ten count 20/30 of their adversaries, it's just a little idiosyncrasy of mine seeing " KOd " in fighters stats or record, has been for decades, anyway that's off my mind, thanks for indulging me Antonio, and always have time for your musings on our sport.

Well, i always said if it was a cuts stoppage, or the opponent quit, or the ref stopped the fight, it was still caused by hard punches!

On a side note, you have to admire how Brian Mitchell made sure to take ownership of his last name. Frankie and Sweet Irving were among his conquered. Any guy in that weight range with the last name Mitchell had to answer to him, haha.
