robinson- don't really think anyone beats him at 147, probably have to give burley or hearns best chance tough at 160 probably monzon

duran- at 135 would give whitaker best chance further up hearns definetly

    Tyson- ali or liston

    RJJ foster or spinks

Mayweather well at around 130/35 i would say duran and chavez further up i'd fancy a few people to beat him, robinson and hearns espicially

My favorite fighter is Roberto Duran.

His worst nightmare would be Pernell Whitaker. While I believe Duran to be the greatest lightweight of all-time, Whitaker, head-to-head, has tremendous stylistic advantages over him. There's a chance Duran could outwork him to a decision, and the judges in this fight would be of huge influence (what they value more, etc) but there's a bigger chance Whitaker would thrive of what Duran would bring -- tremendous amounts of pressure.

The argument that x was hurt by y is bull. Kelly was nearly KTFO by Taylor and was in much more trouble than Kessler was against Joe.

Taylor couldnt put a dent in Ouma or Spinks. :good

    Ok lets see here:

    Joe's KO percentage: 72%

Here's two guys that knocked down(and out in one case) your heroes:
Jimmy Young KD Big George: 32% KO percentage, and he KD'd George.
Buster Douglas KTFO Tyson: 65% KO percentage, plus has been beaten a shitload of times :rofl

So Kessler was only hurt by a guy with 72% KO rate and no loses, yet.. he's a bum. Your logic goes out the window, ***** :deal

Floyd's worst nightmare would be Sugar Ray Leonard. Someone faster than him who would pressure him up close, throw mad combos and hooks, outjab him, and an instinct for finishing.

Well, I dont really think that, I favor Jones over just about every MW out there...ever. Save for maybe Hopkins (prime v prime) and Leonard.

Speed is close. Skills are comparable. He wouldnt stop Ray. Ray had the power to keep him honest. I think he could take a decision vs him.

It was a tough call. The original post says worst nightmare at his weight....I dont really think ANYONE would be a "worst nightmare" for Roy at any weight. Same with Hopkins and Whitaker. I just tried to find someone that I think would "stand a chance".

I think that Michael Moorer would be a nightmare for RJJ at light heavy.

For Calzaghe, Roy Jones as he's the only one who could maybe beat a prime Joe Calzaghe.

I would also say though that Calzaghe is also Roy Jones worst nightmare.

What a fight that would have been prime v prime.
