Your favorite Holmes fights

    Holmes-Norton, a great back and forth battle.

    Holmes-Weaver, great fight, Weaver pushed Holmes to the brink, Larry lands one of my favorite uppercuts of all time to turn the tide back in his favor!!

    Holmes-Shavers II, great fight, Holmes down, shavers bloody, great fight!!

    Holmes-Snipes, another fight where Holmes picks him self up and comes back to win!! The post fight stuff is good here 2, Snipes tries to get at Holmes during the interviews lol..

    Holmes-Cooney, Love this fight, it was a real Super Fight back then, Holmes looks great and Cooney is game!!

    Holmes-Bonecrusher Smith, Smith rocks him a few times and they have a good scrap, Holmes was starting to fade here but still has enough to turn back Crusher!!

    Holmes-David Bey, unbeaten Bey doesn't look like much but he can fight but once again Holmes turns another spirited challenger back.

    Holmes-Carl Williams, Holmes faces a mirror of him self, I love this fight its an interesting stylistic match up with Williams being so similar to Holmes, I think Carl may have won this one, but it was close..

    Holmes-Michael Spinks II, very good fight, very close I think most people think Holmes was way out in front and got robbed but that's not the case, I think Holmes won but by a point or 2, very close!!

    As others have mentioned the fights against Norton, Weaver, Witherspoon, and Smith are great. I also enjoy the Ossie Ocasio fight. Even though it was almost all one way traffic and Ocasion was small and limited, Holmes fights brilliantly.

    Norton was a good one close back and forth action. Shavers2, Snipes, His best performance was Cooney because Gerry was undefeated 25-0, although never tested beyond 8rds. I liked the Tyson fight, young lion vs experience

    Hmmm you really liked two? I didn't see it but I only hear people bring up the first fight so it's interesting for you to bring up the second match.

    You didn't have to be in this thread if no one forced you to. If you don't like Holmes fine but don't ruin this thread for those who do.

    I love Tyson, but he got KTFO too.
