    Good fight, close fight. I had McCall winning by only a point.

    Damn I should've watched it while it still was on youtube....well I'll try to get Holme's career set and watch it then.

    I like Holmes/Cooney. Larry showed that he was much better. It is always good to see the great hype or build up fighter get beaten decisively.

    I watched the Cooney fight , what a shame if it is one of his best , but not surprising for me.

    One thing about Holmes. He was the last Heavyweight Champion to regularly fight on network tv (often prime time). So it was good thatre and usually good fights. Even his blowouts were entertaining. I can recall an entertaining postfights interview after he stopped Scott Frank. Frank was very upset about an alleged thumbing I believe, as if the outcome would've been different had he not been thumbed. The Spinks and Marvis Frazier fights were entertaining. The Cobb fight rid us of Cosell.

    the norton and witherspoon fights are real good and the shavers fights and the mercer fight are the first ones that spring to mind
