Man, boxing's going to be a poorer place when Merchant's gone. The guy genuinely loves and respects the sport and never toes the corporate line, like some commentators have been known to do.

Larry was and is a great commentator. Boxing will have lost a great one when he finally retires. Sad thing is I don't see anyone replacing him for a long time. Kellerman, bless his little heart, is trying but he has a long way to go before he makes us forget Larry Merchant.
Larry Merchant is one in a million. We'll never forget him. Even if you don't always agree with what he says, he asks the questions we all want to be answered.
