grigsby...slightly boring at parts but shows his real boxing class in terms of technique and crispness against a a fast and experienced mover.

alverez. first fight where he REALLY had a challenge.

sanchez. good match up and dominating performance

petelo not a great fighter but a tall lanky hitter with a solid jab, completely out of his depth. even for a 2 weight world champion. not Ricardo best performance but worth a watch

Preecha. Maybe my favourite KO ever. Punches get better as he throws the combos.

Lee. Lopez concerns me when boxing under pressure, but he's flawless here. The best pressure guy he totally dominated, gives me some hope for him against guys he's usually (Rightly) picked to lose against:

Charoen. There never was a tougher teenager. This is good to watch because Lopez gets a near-free reign for his beautiful punching at times, but it's probably more notable for one of the more gutsy performances i've seen post WW2.

Oshashi. As competent a title-winning performance as you'll see.

I really liked the Alvarez rematch; he proved not only skilled but tough and resolute, which he'd never really had to show over 12 rounds before. Not that way.

My problem with Alvarez II is that I had it a draw:

    Lopez: 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 9
    Alvarez: 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, 12

But I agree that this is the only time he shows great boxing immediatly upon hitting adversity. It's an advert for what an excellent fighter he could have been given time in a strong deep division. I'm concerned with Lopez's performance down the straight though.

I'll have to go look at it again, but I remember scoring that one 8-4 for Lopez, with him pulling away down the stretch.

I dislike Holmes-Witherspoon because I score that one a draw.......different rationale for disliking it I guess; I dislike that one because I feel like such a wuss having it a draw. It's such a contentious fight, I feel like I should pick a damn side, but I can't. I have it 114-114.
