I loved Jones when he was the Undisputed World Lt. Heavyweight Champion but now I think that he's so pathetic. He will never become what he used to be again.

Yes, I watched it live and you're grossly exaggerating what happened in that fight.

    1. Tarver is no power puncher.

    2. Tarver fought in spurts and would only fight for thirty seconds of every other round.

    3. Most of the punches were fast and wild arm punches that were scoring points but not powerful and mostly glancing off of the arms or hitting the body.

    4. Every time something did hit Roid's pathetic Chin he was hurt and went into a defensive shell on the ropes.

    5. When he got hit cleanly in the second fight he went out like a light and got back up stumbling around like the town drunk proving once and for all that his Chin was and remains Grade AAA China.

Even if he did have a glass jaw back then, noone would have noticed with his amazing reflexes, and punching power.

P4P rankings are mythical. They are made up. Glass Jaws are real. They exist in Boxing. Roid has one of the worst of all-time.

I knew it as soon as feather fisted Del Valle put him on his ass with a glancing blow and had he fought Nunn, Benn, McClellan, or Eubank it would have been more than obvious. The man had a Glass Jaw and all of the drivel above about him being Top 5 ATG and unbeatable and so on and so forth is nothing but conjecture because he made his name off of two boring fights with Toney and Hopkins, a fight against one of the biggest disgraces ever in HW boxing, and collecting a truckload of alphabet titles while beating up an assortment of cabbies and off-duty police officers. They called him Reluctant Roy for a reason and he got knocked cold for a simple reason, as well, and it has nothing to do with weight drain, being out of his Prime, or any of that crap. The man had and has an awful Glass Jaw and there is no amount of revisionist history that can change that.

All of them are quite entertaining:

Antonio Tarver - First person to expose him via brutal KO
Glen Johnson - Reasons you outlined
Danny Green - "to become a legend you must beat a legend" - :rofl:patsch
    Denis Lebedev - Brutal KO
