    Ruiz was a joke just like you, uttercunt. The guy had zero power, hadn't legitimately KOed ANYBODY in years, and did more grabbing and wrestling than he ever did fighting. Another delusional Royboy trying to turn that fat, unskilled slob into some sort of wrecking machine that Roid skillfully and bravely defeated. :patsch

    Ruiz is one of the biggest disgraces in HW history, just slightly behind Valuev and Haye, and he's the only HW "champion" that I can think of who was beaten by two former MWs. That is disgraceful. The man couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper sack and you better believe that Glass Jaw Roy knew that when he picked him.

    Really Floyd never fought outside the states should he have went after Hatton when Hatton called him out and was the man ? Nice try genius ! Quick thought, you judge roy on his glass jaw, but have you had 50+ pro fights on the highest stage in boxing. Im guessing not. Im also guessing that if it were ever to happen, you pussies would get your glass jaws exposed by roy in about 10 seconds flat. /thread

    How the **** did Floyd come into this conversation? We are not talking about Floyd, we are talking about Roid, but either way about it, Floyd has fought nearly all of his best contemporaries and completely clowned them. He exposed Hatton as another fighter in a long line of British Glass Jawed Frauds with no skills and no Heart. Back to Roid, though.

    DM is the fight that everyone wanted to see. Roid did his best to squash any notion of it, completely refusing to travel to make the fight and even asking HBO to remove any mention of him from their broadcasts. That is beyond ridiculous. And unlike you, I didn't have to wiki Roid to realize that he was never an undisputed champion and never beat a lineal champion. For people who were actually watching Boxing at the time it is common knowledge. His own in-house production company, HBO, even referred to him as Reluctant Roy because he refused to get the big fights made and ducked numerous punchers as he cherrypicked his way through vacant and otherwise worthless titles.

    DM is not the only big fight that he went out of his way to avoid. He didn't want any part of Eubank, Benn, McClellan, or Nunn which is why he didn't fight them. I give him a chance against Eubank who might have come in mentally flaky and Benn who also didn't have the sturdiest of Chins but McClellan would have walked him down and obliterated his Glass Jaw and Nunn would have KOed him as well seeing as how Jones never looked good against a quick Southpaw. Your boxrec and wiki abilities are never going to win this argument for you because you are debating people who have been watching Boxing since you were not even an itch in your father's scrotum.:deal:hi:

    Jones had 2 belts that belonged to DM. DM was THE Light Heavyweight Champion of the World NOT Roy Jones who fought for 2 belts that were stripped from DM for NO REASON. At no point in time was Roy Jones ever THE Light Heavyweight Champion of the World. He unified 3 trinket paper belts and gave up one of them (WBC) and then asked for it back :rofl:rofl and that caused the WBC to lose a multi-million dollar lawsuit.

    The best should fight the best, that is all there is to it. If there are big fights that are clamoring to be made you at least try to make them. World champions test themselves and they go where they need to to make the fights happen, like Ali always did. Roid never did this preferring instead to refuse to travel, overpricing himself and making outrageous demands which nailed the coffin shut on many fights, and you and the rest of the delusional Royboys continue to make excuses like your idol and rationalize the obvious cherrypicking he did. Out of all the fighters who are talked about as reverently as Roid is not one of them is missing as many key fighters of his generation from his resume as Roid is. His resume is built around the two boring ****ing fights with Toney and Hopkins and that sham of a HW "championship" bout with Glass Jawed, feather fisted wrestler John Ruiz.

    Why would Roid duck McClellan? Because McClellan beat him on points in the amateurs and he knew that he would shatter his Glass Jaw in the pros, that's why. Roid never fought any power punchers that were worth a **** and the record clearly shows this. You can make all the excuses you want, you can refer to your made up P4P rankings all you want, and you can ignore history as much as you want, as well, but Glass Jaw Roy is one of the most overrated fighters in the history of Boxing and anyone delving into his career should be able to see beyond the smoke and mirrors. He is a joke.
