i'm sure there must be loads of great fights to fit the bill, even though we usually only remember the ones with knockdowns, blood and guts etc.however, even now i still love the 1991 bout between azumah nelson and jeff fenech.the pace was unrelenting, with fenech pinning nelson in one corner for much of the fight and throwing everything he had in his arsenal.if ever there was the stereotypical 'fight in a phone booth' it was this one.nelson kept his title with a contentious draw, much to fenech's(and most of the watching public's) dismay, but nelson destroyed fenech in their rematch the following year.nevertheless, this is amongst my top 20 favorite fights of the last 20 years, and the only one without an outright (at least in the eyes of the judges)winner.any other candidates?

    Barrera vs Morales 3

If you dont want to count the knockdown in their first fight, then i would say that one.

froch vs pascal was great. two unbeaten fighters both looking to hit the big time, froch won the fight but both fighters definitely came out winners.

froch vs kessler was just an all out war and was great action from start to end. plus it was close as well, so the ending was tense.

As far as recent fights go, Froch Pascal was pretty good. Love him or hate him, the man goes to war with anyone

    For me personally....

    Fernando Vargas vs Ike Quartey
    Mayorga vs Forrest 2
    Morales vs Pac 1
    MAB vs Morales 3
    Cotto vs Mosley

*The fact they have to be world title fights is big, cuz there are so many more (like... Tua vs Ike) that would go up here... interesting thread though, makes one think :good

    ---------------
Honorable Mention: Kessler vs Froch, Perez vs Mares (though this one might be a world title fight i forget, if not then scratch that),

it is one of the best no-knockdown fights recently. terrific night of boxing that was.

i became a fan of pascal after this night.
