Cricky I should think Icemax voted for Witter as well. His entire fanbase must be all online at once.

Anyone who has a keen, unbiased interest in the domestic scene.

Theres a lot of love for David Haye in the poll, can the inevitable backlash be far behind?;)

I'm just glad he's found his level

What level is that then? Witter is a very good fighter whether you like his style/personality or not. He's definitely been a world level operator and would still give most of the top ten a good fight. It's mainly Hatton fanboys who don't like Junior.

Hes not legit world level in my eyes.Euro level at best.Maybe I'm slightly biased. The point I was making originally was that I don't care about him,he's certainly not my favourite British boxer

I've never taken to Witter either as a person or as a fighter but its undeniable that, at the VERY LEAST, he's been a world class fighter at 140 for a long time.

Sorry to be a pedant but what does that even mean? By that reckoning hardly any of the top ten 140 fighters are "legit world level".

    True.

I put him in my "other" bunch precisely because he is generally unpopular and lost his last fight to Bradley. In that division he could definetly win another belt; what it comes down to now is whether he can get a fight - as a non-belt holder, coupled with his "awkward" style, he is really part of the "who needs him club".

OK I'll give him credit for a few good wins.Colin Lynes,Morua,DeMarcus Corley,N'Dou and Kotelnik are good names to have on the slate. There are others aswell.Like I said I have a biased view because I hate the bloke. But he is no world beater. If he can capture another world title then good for him and his EBU fight is a good place to start
