Mexican fighters seem to demand my attention more so than any others. I don't know what it is, perhaps you can explain it?

I just generally prefer to watch the smaller guys.

So, I suppose its because the lower weight divisions are stuffed with Mexicans.

had to pop Lewis in outta respect as his best time was the 90's but there are some in there that coulda lived with anyone and some with their best days still to come and maybe one or two, who though not the greatest, always earn their money.

because they are mad like ferrets and go all out for the KO? Not just Mexican but probably the wider latin american boxing culture is quality.

my top ten of the decade:

    1. Erik Morales

took them all on, feared no-one, took no **** from anyone. In a sport of cherry pickers and egos there was no-one he would duck or avoid fighting. Didn't always win but always gave 100%, a true warrior.

    2. Manny Pacquiao

    This content is protected

Took everybody on, and KOd most of them. One of the sports most anticipated fighters.

    3. Shane Mosley

Immense speed and power. Remembered for slaying the giant Margarito against all the odds, and an immense duel with Cotto. Was a thorn in delahoya's ass back when he was good. Great entertainer even in his old age.

    4. Kostya Tszyu

Hard as ****, no nonsense fighter. KO'd most of his division and was one of the most feared and respected in the sport. Bonus points for one of the greatest title fights of all time in his duel with Hatton. Old age and a lack of spirit for the occasion compared to the young pretender got the better of him. Iconic and much loved gladiator.

    5. Marco Antonio Barrera

Similar to Morales he took the whole division on. Famously schooled Naseem Hamed. Played his part in some iconic fights and battles.

    6. Arturo Gatti

Similar to Barerra, but lacked the quality and finesse (in my view) of some of the decades other warriors. His trilogy with Ward will go down in history with the great rivalries.

    7. Floyd Mayweather

By these standards, a rather boring entertainer. But he was an exciting specactle, and won where he always said he would win. Cleaned out several divisions, and is the decade's true ATG.

    8. Joe Calzaghe

A largely cherry picked decade included some rather impressive victories. Lacy, Kessler and Hopkins in particularly were the pinnacle of a great decade for him.

    9. David Haye

Great KO spectacle. Hasn't done it on the greatest stage yet but ended the decade well with his victory over Valuev. His brutal demolition of Macarinelli ended any doubts of his true calibre when it was under question. Hasn't looked back since with some good victories.

    10. Juan Manuel Marquez

The only boxer to give Pacquiao any real problems this decade (apart from Morales). Some good victories - Barrera, Juarez, Diaz and Casamayor. And he took on Mayweather instead of bottling it.

    THANK YOU
