Agree Sibbo Fight, Sibbo was a very dangerous challenger with a dynamite Left hook, Marvin showed his versatility by boxing initially, excellant mobility, defusing Sibbo, then taking him out, he made Sibbo look ordinary, A returning Sibbo, booked in the role of opponent, took out his frustrations on undefeated prospect John Collins for a smashing and shocking two round KO. It highlighted the class of the Hagler Performance.

I liked his performance against Thomas Hearns. Hearns was looking unstoppable going into the fight and to see Hagler show no fear and go straight at him the entire fight non stop no matter what Hearns threw at him Hagler just kept attacking and broke down an all time great in 3 rounds.

I liked his performance against alan minter. really ripped the title from the tall southpaw with ferocious aggression on the front foot, then when minter would lose his temper, hagler backed off landing surgical precision bombs on the back foot. minters face looked like a butchers slab after 8 minutes of it including 2 rest minutes. jesus!

Funnily enough one of my favourite performances by Marv is the first Hamsho fight. He displayed a wide variety of skills and took the tough Hamsho to school. The rematch wasn't even remotely close and Hagler ripped him up.

They should've subsituted better, like a Dwight Davidson/Frank Fletcher/Curtis Parker type contender, instead of Caveman.I wish Marvin could've gotten Mickey Goodwin down the line, still would've won, of course, but maybe Mickey gives him a couple of good rounds.

it's a tie between Minter and Sibson imo. Both fights illustrate what a good technician Hagler was. He was much more than a puncher with a good chin. He was a deadly boxer/puncher at his best. To this day I regret never seeing Hagler and Leonard get it on earlier than they actually did. Would've been one of the greatest fights of all time.

    personally...mugabi.
mugabi showed a lot of skill that night I thought...he took everything marvin threw for a long time where you could have expected hagler to get disheartened. ..but hagler kept coming..and coming...no quit at all in him..eventually stopping the beast....mugabi was great that night I thought.

    Tommy Hearns.
    Tony Sibson.
    Wilford Scypion.
Basically those three fights in that exact chronological order.
