I've liked Donaire ever since he put the arrogant and delusional Darch on his ass for the count. I just don't understand why his career has been wasted since that time.
Yep, although he was physically the bigger man in that fight, he looked very classy. Split decision though :tired
That was shocking, I mean, I deffy anyone to show me the rounds that Avalos won, that judge should get the bullet, absolutely ridiculous! :huh
Interesting how the Donaire band wagon is really getting going now (see poll) , this fight with Montiel if it gets the right exposure and build up , could be the biggest BW fight in history ...........
Just watched Nkosinathi Joyi's fight with Raul Garcia, that guy is a huge for the weight, looks like a very big puncher to, he also has a very generous reach, which is something I feel Garcia struggled with, he does look formidable for that weight. Good fight, bit of a war, albeit a bit one sided down the stretch.
Darchinyan. He won't win any competitions for being technically sweet, for being charismatic or anything like that. But he has exactly the right attitude that every single fighter should have. He will fight anyone, anytime. (I suspect he may be a bit of a psychopath, and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets in trouble with the law at some stage.) If every fighter had the same willingness then boxing would be in a golden era. Second on my list would be Donaire. He is a bit of a ***, and his lack of willingness to fight is a huge disappointment, but his skills in the ring are sweet as. Watching his crisp counters and just how damn accurate he is - that's why the little guys make for such excellent and watchable fights.
