present, surprise surprise, is froch. to achieve what he has is sensational, and if more had his approach to travelling wherever and facing whomever, boxing would be better and more popular. managing to regularly connect against other quicker fighters shows he has really good, underrated timing. coming through galahad is great to watch, incredibly skilful.

as a kid tommy hearns was my favourite, later on naz. shame he let himself go, with discipline he'd've been atg no doubt.

all time i've enjoyed reading about wilde and gans most.

Being exposed as a ***** boy, I would have thought your favourite boxer would have been Nicky Piper. :hi:

Ive plenty of favourites, but being irish, Wayne McCullogh was a personal favourite of mine.

I loved Eubank when i was a kid, much to the dismay of my fellow boxing club mates.

But i think my ultimate favourite was Ricky Hatton. I nearly cried when Paquiao sparked him cold. What a punch in fairness, but it was grim viewing for a fan.

Now, Carl Frampton. I actually think ill shed a tear when he does eventually lose. Because lets be honest, very few keep their unbeaten record in this sport.

At least i now realise how my father felt when Barry McGuigan lost to Cruz in Las Vegas. i remember seeing my father cry at that., God love him

Past: Hearns - The way he fought! Being a tall skinny guy like myself puts him just ahead of Hagler

    Current Worldwide: Kovalev
Current UK - Groves - Just find him a funny character and enjoyed the way he wound up Froch
