Fighters who have no excessive phobia of getting hit, otherwise they might as well join "dancing with the stars".
you're watching the wrong sport then homie....the name of the game in boxing is to hit without getting hit, the sweet science is not about eating punches with your face. UFC sounds more up your alley, they all throw defense out the window and try to go savage on each other like rock'em sock'em robots. plus it's all extreme and in a cage yo!!! human cockfighting is much more suited to your interests than the sweet science.
overrated glass jawed britbums like faye, herbie hide, ricky hatton ,khan and calzslappy are my favorite fighters. Can you add the option glass jawed britbum?
The usual response for fans who prefer the "runner-type"(yeah I know it's not really running) boxers. It's a defense mechanism for some of you to try and bring this to the lowest common denominator when you know that what fans of the "warrior-type" boxer like them for is the heart they display. Nobody likes to get hit but these guys have the courage to take chances in order to obtain their goal.
I love watching warrior types, I appreciate and have favorite fighters that employ a variety of different styles. I was just responding to ***** ass troll Pejevan's ignorance. Either way though there's been infinite examples throughout history of boxer types with mad heart and warrior types with glass hearts who fold when they can't bully someone.deal Point is this is BOXING so to not have appreciation for BOXERS is ridiculous!!! It's a common theme for people to assume warriors types have more heart than boxer types.... tell me Ali, SRR, Whitaker, Pep, Benny Leonard, Ezzard Charles etc... didn't have mad heart. Perfect example would be Ivan Calderon.....dude was done for vs Segura and knowing damn well he can't harm a fly with those featherfists he was still winging shots from his knees throwing his whole weight behind them in an attempt to stun the pressing Segura, such a courageous display by a natural mover and boxer who couldn't punch through tissue paper against an opponent that dwarfs him and was bullying him.
Well stated. My only issue with those fans of the sweet science who get up on their high horse and claim they are the true boxing fans and then compare give-and-take-type boxers to UFC fighters.
Could never pick a single style as a favorite. To me, as long as the fighter pulls off his style with minor glitches, I fully appreciate them. It's about what they can do with their style when matched against the opposite.
complete fighters who can punch, but also can box and win decisions. Guys who get better and improve at the top level and take on all comers.
my favorite are iron chin polish fighters like michalczewski adamek, proksa, wlodarczyk.guys who were never floored.not like british glass jaws..
:yep:rofl me and few others been promoting the Slick Black movement heavy recently. seems like people appreciate the style more on ESB.
Punchers, brawlers, sluggers, swarmers with granite chins and one punch KO power always moving forward throwing with bad intentions
Slickness and fluidity of the American fighter, bravery and in your face like the Mexican, alongside Willie Pep considered the greatest featherweight ever, shared honors for Fighter of the Year with none other than Sugar Ray Leonard, had unreal stamina that would be envied by a marathon runner, and achieved all time greatness by the time he was 23 and accomplished what other legends did in half the time. Definitely Salvador Sanchez.
