    Expecting a Thurman UD(or hoping for not a KO of Pacquiao). This fight will start off with fireworks, I think that’s pretty much a guarantee.

    I agree. Pac's looking to make a statement (I'm smaller than you, but I'm faster and I can hurt you) and Thurman's looking to make a statement (I'm bigger than you and I can hurt you).

    If we get the Thurman from a few years ago he will win as he's a great counter puncher.
    I'm going for Manny based on Thurmans last outing which may be a big mistake but Manny even at 40 is still good enough to beat those outside of Spence and Crawford.

    It may be for several reasons:
    1. Recency bias
    2. People still believe he still has it. He is a legend and his fans the Filipino people will always believe it until they see otherwise.

    But I do agree, the odds are counterintuitive to a degree. But when you have a legend in Pacquiao and a seemingly in-his-prime fighter in Thurman, this is as close to a 50-50, pick-em fight.
