Your final thoughts on the whole Mayweather/Ortiz show

I felt Mayweather was in control of the fight overall.
I thought that Ortiz was being very dirty using the head.
I do think that Ortiz was giving Floyd something to think about before landing his illegal headbutt which was very wrong.

Time was called and Ortiz rightfully had a point deducted.
I do feel that what Floyd did next was very much a cheap shot. He was speaking with Ortiz and giving no indication that he was going to throw a punch. I guess Floyd wanted to retaliate for the foul against him but feel he went there with a premeditated intention.
It did look like Cortez indicated to continue boxing but wasnt watching the fighters, but looking to someone at ringside.
Cortez didnt seem to be on the ball by not watching the action.
If cortez did indicate to box (which it looked as if he did) then the punch would be legal although I dont like how the it was all done with the fighters hugging then an instant punch being thrown.

After the fight when interviewed...

I think Floyd knew what he did wasnt right as L Merchant didnt ask him anything wrong, but just questioned the event.
The way Floyd acted seemed like he knew what he did was wrong and didnt like having to answer, so started swearing at Merchant making himself look bad.
Merchant then (Never liked his interviews) lowered himself also by shouting back at Floyd though didnt swear.

Ortiz seemed in an odd way to be happy with what happend. I wonder if Ortiz was happy the fight ended that way as he can use this ending as an excuse? I dont know.
Ortiz wasnt really protesting about what happend in the post fight interview in the ring.

I have always admired Floyd and as a fan have to say I was disappointed about what he did. Yes Floyd was fouled but that doesnt make what he did right either.
Floyd was fouled when they were engaged in combat, Ortiz was fouled by what looked like a trick being pulled. I dont like that by either but felt what Floyd did was worse.

I had that impression. He didnt seem to be arguing about what happend and was full of smiles. I found it a bit odd
