My first memory was my dad and uncles talking about Tyson before he fought Tony TNT Tucker and I was 6 or 7 and thought Tucker was a monster and he scared me at that time. Then Mike went out and beat him. Mike was my man after that.

    nice one.

my best mate's boy is 9 now but i think he's a born pacifist.

i treat the little guy like one of my best mate's but he's not going to buy into the fight game.

it's all playstation when he comes to visit me.

Yeah, really does. Just wish the interest had remained with me instead of disappearing somewhat for several years.

My G-Dad is the first to admit that he was never a boxer, just a scrapper who had a hell of a KO punch.

When was your dad fighting? Which army?
My grandad was fighting (British army) before during and after WWII (career soldier). I think his biggest win was knocking out the champion of India.

Unfortunately most of the pictures, ribbons or whatever are unfindable. I hope you don't have that problem.

    Cheers mate.

EDIT: Great to see so many old fellers (respectfully) on here who actually know something about the classic rounds we talk about, instead of just being an obnoxious gobshite like us younger ones (well, I'm about half way, doesn't mean that I have grown up enough not to be an obnoxious gobshite yet though).

P.s. Ryan Calvin. Your avatar is horrible! Looks like she is trying to have a dump on the forum!

And just remebered now, that my firs memory is in fact Miahi Leu(Michael Loewe)- Santiago Samaniego for the world title. Mihai Leu was the firs pro romanian world champion. my father made me watch this fight in 1997.
