When was the first fight you ever saw that you claimed "robbery?"

For me it was when I was 12 years old. I was watching Foreman-Schultz, one of the first fights I ever watched, and even then realized Foreman was getting his butt kicked. When the decision was announced, even though I didn't get the technicalities of it all, I still felt Schultz was robbed. Watching years later, I still agree with this.

I'm lucky enough to have never seen a flat out roberry live. The closest was ODLH vs Mosley II, which I thought Oscar had won.

    Fench-Nelson I.

Especially because as a young, and uninformed fan it was easy to think that Jeff the agressor was the clear winner.
But even now that goes down as one of the worst robberies Ive seen.

I was a kid, but Roy Jones in the Olympics. Unreal, as it is now. People who toss out the word robbery casually need to watch that whole fight to see what a robbery truly looks like.

You know, robberies always are terrible, no matter the circumstances.

But what really gets me about that fight is that they tarnished what was one of the great runs in Olympic history by a fighter. Jones could not have been any more sensational, and the final was a virtuoso example of amateur boxing.

But all we think of that fight now is based on the corruption. Fortunately, Jones went on to establish himself just fine as a pro, to say the least.

No better evidence of this than the fact they overhauled the whole amatuer system because of these games, this fight in particular.

Jeff Fenech at the 1984 Olympics was robbed in the amatuers in his fight as well as the Nelson one.

I obviously remember the Olympic one first.

The Roy Jones one always gets talked about, but people forget what happened when a medal fight was awarded to the non Korean guy - A riot broke out, chairs thrown into the ring as well.

I cant really remember the first "robbery" in a ring anymore!
:DI guess that I must have seen too many of them in the course of the last 10 years.

However,I can vividly remember one of the most outrageous robberies in open daylight which I have ever seen inside a pro ring.
The outcome of Serrat vs May still makes my blood boil. The tough and couregeous Frenchman Serrat was kicking May's ass for 8 long rounds winning every single round up to the time the fight was stopped due to a cut(fishy, too). That fight took place in May's backyard on German soil.Miraculously,May was behind on points after 8 rounds.I and all the thousands of people were totally flubber-gasted when listening to the annoncer declaring May the winner.Serrat's corner went beserk, and the vast majority of the audience was totally shocked keeping silence as if a close family member had died just a couple of minutes before.
What a shame the outcome of that fight was!

Green v Beyer 1, It was so angry after that fight I screaming at the TV and woke my flat mates up and they started to yell at ME and I just lost it and said I would bash the **** out of them if they don't **** off.
