Cooper V Bugner in 1971...Cooper clearly took the fight, Harry Gibb gave it to Bugner by a quarter point.

The worst robbery I ever saw was Ottke V Reid. The ref was actually bollocking Reid for daring to hit his opponent

First fight I remember as a robbery was Benn – Eubank II, though I was fairly young and didn’t understand scoring then so it could’ve been a fair result. I, like most English people at the time, just really wanted to see Benn beat him!

Other than that Holyfield – Lewis was the other time I remember being irate at a decision. Damn yank judges! (Joking by the way!)

Also gotta say Reid – Ottke, robbed by ref and judges! That fight was so ridiculous it was laughable so didn’t make me as angry. After the ref’s performance you had to be kinda expecting a dodgy decision.

Close fights come and close fights go, and there are sometimes varying degrees of perception in relation to how a fight panned out. But Ottke-Reid is the one robbery that sticks in my mind, and by far the worst that I saw. It seems to be one fight which fight fans don't argue over; it is universally recognised as a complete farce. (Jones in the Olympics was pretty bad also).

Watching Roy Jones put on a masterclass against some Korean in the Olympics, Roy honestly must've outlanded him 10:1.That fight set a new standard for the term 'Robbery'.

The fact that the Korean crowd cheered the decision disgusted me just as much as the judging itself.

Even if it was only a draw and not a Chavez win, Whitaker got robbed

Oh, and while it didn't go to a decision, Richard Steele personally robbed Meldrick Taylor

Ottke - Reid was an absolute joke of a robbery - still get angry thinking about it now! If I ever meet that Roger Tilleman...

    Whitaker-Chavez

I was watching it with some 20 people in a backyard, some of Chavez old friends from Sinaloa Mexico. They were thrilled about the draw. I was there only because the daughter was my girlfriend. I could careless about the fight.
