GGG by two point lead. KD solidified his win. I want to see a rematch.

Jacobs won at least 5. I was casually scoring I think I had 114-113 GGG. I disagreed with Lederman on a couple rounds. Giving Jacobs one and GGG one so it just reversed. GGG lacked going to the body as most of the action was kept at a distance. A lot of the action that Jacobs looked good were missing hitting GGG on the forearms or missing completely. Jacobs looked really good with a lot of heart. GGG did not push the action enough in my opinion and Jacobs looked good going southpaw also.

Ok thanks for that, clearly he's well respected,I'm presuming Lederman was the one with just a round in it which is certainly better than those other two, sounds about right to me or even a draw would of been realistic,I couldn't give Jacobs the win on account of him being down and hurt several times and like I said being competetive isn't enough to steal the belts in my view,I'd like a rematch though

That was in regards to the votes not being made public. Was a little drunk at the time, so wasn't as clear as I could have been.

Exactly my thoughts where was the body shots and the follow up stuff from the jab,I think I have an idea,I reckon he was very nervous and also I think his respect for Danny's power stopped him from putting his down and firing away like he does against guys he knows can't touch him.
Shame really that it's taken so long for someone of quality on top of their game to challenge GGG,I don't think he'd beat Ward myself?

    Well
he's another who can box, probably doesn't have the power of Jacobs but at his best Saunders is a joy to watch,(see Eubank and Andy Lee fights to see what I mean)

    Triple G by 1 point .

I really wanted Jacobs to beat the hell out of Triple G so I can see how he reacts to a fight that is not going his way. But.. That didn't happen . Jacobs as heavy as he was couldn't even make GGG blink with his punches. The fight didn't really live up to my expectations TBH.

People giving rounds to Jacobs because he exceeded expectations, that's it. I've watched the fight 3 times.

Round 7 was unanimous for Jacobs. Uh really? He was hurt in that round, walked down, and outlanded.

    GGG the king at 160
    37-0

GGG moseyed on into Jacobs' backyard, putting all 3 of his world titles on the line (well the IBF would've been on the line if not for Jacobs refusing to weigh in on the morning of the fight), and he put on a jab clinic. He jabbed the soul out of that boy. Put a fork in his ass he's done.

    Jab Facts

GGG's jab was the dominant punch in the fight

His jab was more effective as a power punch than Jacobs' power punches were.

It was more powerful than Jacobs' power shots were
    It was cleaner
    It was more eye catching
    It did more damage
It jolted Jacobs head back more than Jacobs' shots did to GGG
And it hurt Jacobs more than his power shots hurt GGG

The only reason people scored the fight in favour of Jacobs or had it closer than it actually was is, as has been said on this very page, because Jacobs exceeded expectations and we've become so used to seeing GGG dominate and blow through his opponents like a knife through hot butter that it was shocking to see someone actually be competitive with him.

Seeing as this is back alive again...

Fight night, I scored it for Jacobs. I also live in the UK and had just got in from the club, so there's that.

Rewatched it a few times since and had it to GGG every time since. Think I settled on 114-113 most times but did have a 115-112 too as well. When I scored it live it was only Jacobs by 1 anyway

114-113 GGG. Very close and I wouldn't have argued if they gave it to Jacobs by a round. The knockdown edged it for GGG imho. Mightily impressive performance from Jacobs and a shame given boxing politics what it is that his reward is to be one of the most avoided boxers out there now.
